🌄 Henderson wins big: Best place for working parents revealed

Six years after moving to Las Vegas, the only thing our family truly misses about California is our extended family. I know some of you might be extremely envious, but I genuinely have the world’s best mother-in-law.

Last week, we flew back to California for a celebration of life for a family member who nearly made it to 100 years old. It meant a lot for Gabe to be there for his grandpa. The photo below brought both tears of sadness and joy.

One of the best parts of choosing Vegas as our home base is that everyone, and I mean everyone, loves coming to visit. We’ve loved hosting family, friends, and coworkers when they’re in town.

Opening February 26, Hayworth is bringing chef Alex Reznik’s culinary expertise to Henderson with a menu steeped in Jewish and Eastern European heritage. From beef tongue agnolotti to paprikash-style chicken and slowly cooked Wagyu brisket, each dish carries heart and history.

Dessert dazzles with chocolate babka, sufganiyot, and honey-olive oil cake, while cocktails by Giuseppe González like the Trinidad Sour add craft flair. With a cozy, velvet-lined dining room and open-air terrace, it’s a neighborhood spot made for celebrations, dates, and memorable meals.

The Gist: The Las Vegas Raiders introduced Klint Kubiak as their new head coach on Feb. 10 in Henderson.
