It’s impressive tech that I don’t fully understand, but I can tell you it works. I’m thinking about trying it myself since I’ve spent so much time in the sun.

The Gist: Henderson is accepting applications to add local veterans’ names to its Veterans Memorial Wall, which will be updated ahead of the city’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 8.

Why It Matters: The memorial, now bearing more than 1,900 names, honors Henderson residents who served in wars from Korea to the Global War on Terror and ensures their service is remembered by the community.

What’s Next: Veterans or their families can apply by Sept. 25 with required documentation to qualify.
