A favorite in Vegas’ plant-based scene, NoButcher is heading to Henderson under new ownership. Phillip Shia is keeping the warm, welcoming spirit alive—plus expanding with a larger space, indoor-outdoor seating, and even a mural from a local artist.

Expect all the beloved sandwiches, salads, and sweets, from the Flakey NoChicken to the Aloha NoRib. Bonus: limited-time favorites may become permanent menu fixtures.

From the team behind 313 BBQ, Blvd Bar BQ & Wings is expanding with a new spot in Sunset Ridge Plaza. Expect smoked favorites like brisket, ribs, burnt ends, and kielbasa—plus wings, fried chicken sandwiches, and loaded mac and cheese bowls.

Owner Steve Shearer isn’t spilling all the details just yet, but the menu promises big flavor and classic comfort. Coming soon to 2895 N Green Valley Parkway, Suite F.

Eureka! is now open on St. Rose Parkway, bringing its signature mix of scratch-made American fare and warm hospitality to the neighborhood. The menu spans craveable starters like truffle cheese fries and mac 'n' cheese balls to burgers, tacos, and hearty entrées.

There’s also a thoughtful lineup of local craft beers, small-batch whiskeys, and cocktails. It’s a laid-back spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks—perfect for catching up with friends or unwinding after a long day.

A neighborhood favorite in the Artisan Booze District, CraftHaus delivers big flavor with small-batch charm. Known for creative brews like strawberry mochi ale and fan-favorite IPAs, this spot keeps things casual with a clean taproom, friendly staff, and solid bar bites (the brat on a pretzel bun is amazing).

There's usually a food truck outside, kids are welcome, and beer chats with the bartenders are part of the charm. Whether you're a regular or just brewery-hopping, it's a great, relaxed place to sip and stay awhile.

A brand-new fire station is opening in west Henderson, and neighbors are invited to take a look. Fire Station 92, located at 2000 Via Centro, officially opens its doors today, 05/07, with guided tours starting at 10 a.m. The station will support the growing Inspirada area and also serve as a training center.

With more electric scooters and e-bikes zipping around town, Clark County—and cities like Henderson and Boulder City—are looking at new ways to keep things safe and orderly. Local leaders are drafting possible rules, and each community is taking a slightly different approach.

Boulder City’s Nevada Way Reconstruction Project is moving forward, with contractor bids due 05/08. The plan includes center parking between Wyoming and Arizona, diagonal parking on Wyoming, and expanded sidewalks for ADA compliance.

Seven trees will be removed, but new festive trees and lighting are planned. Construction could begin 07/07 and finish by late September, ahead of the fall event season. The city says changes are needed to meet accessibility standards while preserving outdoor seating for businesses. Read more here.
