⛳ Desert Willow Golf Course – Henderson

Treat Dad to a memorable round at Desert Willow Golf Course, nestled in the scenic foothills of Black Mountain. This course’s unique par-3 heavy layout offers just the right challenge for golfers of all levels, making it a great way to sharpen skills or enjoy some quality time together.

🚒 Henderson Upgrades Fire Response

Fire Station 81 just moved to 1600 S. Boulder Highway. The new spot replaces the old station with a 24,000 sq-ft modern complex—complete with 3 extended engine bays and a 10,000 sq-ft warehouse.

It’s staffed with 12 firefighters and a battalion chief per shift, serving over 32,800 neighbors. The site (formerly Camping World) was redeveloped to boost response times and efficiency.

🚧 New Lanes Incoming

Henderson is widening the I-215 between Pecos and Stephanie—two new lanes each way to ease traffic and improve safety.

Upgrades include a diverging diamond at Green Valley Pkwy, better ramps, and a new pedestrian bridge at Village Walk.

All part of the city’s push to modernize and keep traffic moving.
