In the time of the Aztecs it was considered an almost Godly creature due to its unique, transparent qualities.

🌿 Plant Cafe Set for Henderson Debut
The Gist: The Barista Botanist, a San Diego-based cafe and plant shop, is opening its first Las Vegas-area location in Henderson’s $55 million The Cliff redevelopment. The shop will offer organic food, specialty coffee, botanical drinks, and curated plants, joining other new spots along Paseo Verde Parkway. The cafe is expected to open later this year as The Cliff project continues to take shape.
Why It Matters: The opening adds a fresh, wellness-focused hangout to Henderson’s growing food and retail scene. New spaces like this bring fresh energy and inviting places for neighbors to gather.
🚦 Henderson Moves Forward on I-11/I-215 Upgrade
The Gist: Henderson has launched Phase I of the I-11/I-215 interchange improvement project to ease traffic near Lake Mead Parkway and the I-11 northbound flyover. Planned upgrades include widening I-215 westbound, adding lanes to ramps, and coordinating with ongoing I-215 widening to minimize disruption. The $5 million design phase, funded by NDOT, is underway, with construction to follow as part of the coordinated traffic improvements.
Why It Matters: Traffic improvements like this can make a real difference for Henderson drivers, especially in a busy area near Lake Mead Parkway. Less congestion and better traffic flow could mean safer, less frustrating commutes for everyone using that stretch.
