🌄 Stoney’s brings country nights to Sunset Station

The Gist: Stoney’s has opened its newest location at Sunset Station, bringing the country bar’s first Henderson location to the valley. The Wednesday-through-Saturday lineup includes live music, line dancing, free lessons and a mechanical bull.

Why It Matters: For folks in Henderson who have been making the drive to Stoney’s other locations, there’s finally one closer to home. Whether you’re looking to learn a few line-dancing steps, catch some live music or just have a fun night out, Sunset Station has another local option now.

The Gist: PopUp Bagels is opening its first Nevada location in Henderson on Aug. 28. The shop is known for serving fresh, whole bagels with butter and schmears for dipping, rather than traditional bagel sandwiches.

Why It Matters: Bagel fans will have a new spot to try close to home, especially if you’ve been curious about the chain that’s been popping up across the country. The Henderson opening will also be the first of several planned Nevada locations, giving us another new breakfast option right here in town.

Let's Get Pho serves traditional Vietnamese dishes, with several pho options that stand out. The Big Bone and oxtail pho are especially popular, with rich broth and generous portions. The restaurant says its pho broth cooks for 16 hours each day.

There are also spring rolls and other Vietnamese favorites on the menu. With late-night hours, it’s a handy place to keep in mind when a pho craving hits!

Sage Boutique and Gifts is a cozy downtown Boulder City shop filled with women’s and kids’ clothing, accessories, home décor, gifts and seasonal finds. The space has a calm, welcoming feel that makes it an easy stop while you’re wandering through downtown.
