🌄 Big upgrades are coming to Henderson’s animal shelter

Short update today as I'm traveling all week for my sales coaching business.

But I'd be remiss if I didn't give my daughter a huge shout out. Her and a team full of amazing little ladies, who were mostly playing up in age division, came in second at their 10-team tournament this weekend.

It was four games out in the hot sun, but it was totally worth it. I didn't grow up a soccer fan, so this is all new to me, but seeing the girls at work, out-hustle, and out-muscle a bunch of teams that were bigger, faster, and technically better than they were brought a couple tears to the eyes of this tough guy.

The Gist: Henderson officials approved a $278,000 donation from Sol-Up to add solar energy and shade structures to the Animal Protection Services facility, building on a larger $7 million renovation plan already underway. The upgrades aim to improve shelter conditions, expand capacity, and make the space more comfortable for animals, staff, and visitors.
