Amazing date night this last weekend with my lovely wife! We were celebrating the end of the school year at Apogee Henderson. I have to give Karina, who is my business partner, my ride-or-die, and the mother of my children, a big shout-out.
When we moved to Vegas, we decided that, for our family, public school wasn’t the right choice. We searched for a private school or micro-school that fit the needs of our kids, and when we couldn’t find the right fit, we opened our own. Two years ago, my wife and her partner Andrea opened Apogee, a micro-school for 5-11 year olds. They have poured their heart and soul into this full-time endeavor, and the kids and parents are loving the community we’ve built.

🏥 Henderson opens first anesthesia program
The Gist: Nova Southeastern University opened its Nevada Regional Campus in Henderson, home to the state's first anesthesiologist assistant program. The first class of 26 students has already begun training.
Why It Matters: Anyone who's waited weeks for a procedure knows healthcare staffing shortages are real. The hope is that students who train here will stick around, giving Southern Nevada one more way to grow its own healthcare workforce instead of relying on people moving here from elsewhere.
