My name is Scott. Our family of four, like so many others, moved to Henderson from Los Angeles in 2022... and we LOVE it here!
When I tell people I live in 'Vegas,' their immediate thoughts go to the strip. Sometimes I have to convince people that we don't live in a hotel or luxury condo, and that Henderson is an amazing, family first community, just like thousands of other places across the country.Ā
So why the newsletter?Ā
Well... building community is the secret superpowerĀ of my wife Karina and I. Whether it is how quickly we ingratiate ourselves at our jiu-jitsu gym (10th Planet off Warm Springs) and made our house the hub for extra workouts, or building our school (we opened www.ApogeeHenderson.com last year), or my decades of bringing together business owners & sales people in our coaching community... Karina and I know how to build community, and love investing in the people around us.Ā

This weekās must-know news
š Henderson Just Got a Little Bigger
Henderson is stretching its borders, adding 38.48 acresāabout the size of 30 football fieldsānear Via Inspirada and Las Vegas Boulevard. Starting March 18, this land will officially be part of the city, though BLM will still manage it for now.
No big changes yet, but the city sees plenty of potentialāthink new jobs, more services, and a boost to the local economy. Just another sign that Henderson is on the rise! More details here.
šļø Fiesta Henderson Site Back in Play
Henderson is still figuring out whatās next for the former Fiesta Henderson site after talks with Woodbury Corporation ended without a deal. The city still plans to bring an indoor rec center and an anchor hotel, but theyāre back to searching for the right partner.
With hopes to lock in a new deal by summer, this project is far from overāstay tuned! Read more here.
