The Henderson Cowboys have their first game in two weeks. Practices for these 9- and 10-year-olds are in full swing, and Gabe (in the white pants) is preoccupied with football about 12–15 hours a week! It should be a great season thanks to head coach Nick Baumert.

🐾 Henderson APS Saves Neglected Animals
The Gist: Henderson Animal Protection Services rescued seven animals from poor living conditions in January. A court hearing confirmed the city’s custody of three American Eskimo dogs, which will go to a local rescue for adoption. Two dogs and two cats have already found new homes.
Why It Matters: The rescue shows how tips from residents and teamwork between city departments can protect animals and the community.
